(COMBINATION TIME)- R AND R WHEEL BEARING ASSEMBLIES- FRONT BOTH
CHECKED AND FOUND THE NOISE IS COMING FROM THE FRONT DRIVESHAFT- FROM THE REAR C/V JOINT, WILL NEED REPLACED, ALSO FOUND THE BALL JOINTS ARE ALL VERY LOOSE- CAN SEE METAL SHAVINGS AROUND THE LOWER BALL JOINTS- NEEDS BALL JOINTS REPLACED ASAP
CHECKED OVER, ALL BALL JOINTS ARE VERY LOOSE, THE STEERING RACK ASSEMBLY IS BEGINNING TO LEAK, FRONT RIGHT AXLE SEAL IS BEGINNING TO LEAK
CONTROL ARM – Remove & Replace – R1500,4WD Upper, BOTH – [DOES NOT include alignment.]
DURING REPAIR HAD VERY DIFFICULT TIME GETTING THE C/V AXLES TO COME OUT OF THE HUB BEARINGS TO ALLOW ACCESS TO CHANGE THE LOWER BALL JOINTS, ENDED UP HAVING TO REMOVE THE ENTIRE STEERING KNUCKLE WITH THE AXLES AND TAKE TO A MACHINE SHOP AND HAVE THE AXLES PRESSED OUT OF THE HUBS, DURING THE PROCESS THE AXLE ENDS BENT AND THE WHEEL BEARINGS STARTED TO SEPARATE FROM THE HUB, MUST REPLACE BOTH AXLES AND BOTH WHEEL BEARING/HUB ASSEMBLIES
