- CHECKED AND FOUND THE SMELL IS FROM UNDER THE HOOD. CHECKED ALL VAPOR LINES, ALL FUEL LINES DOWN THE BACK OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND TO THE TANK- NO ISSUES FOUND. SMELL SEEMS TO BE STRONGEST AROUND THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. FUEL INJECTORS AND COUPLE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL LINES AND THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP ARE LL UNDER THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. ARE ALL VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE TO LOOK FOR EVIDENCE OF LEAKS. WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE INTAKE TO DIAGNOSE FURTHER. AFTER REMOVING THE INTAKE MANIFOLD DID NOT SEE ANY POSITIVE PROOF OF A FUEL LEAK. THESE MODELS ARE KNOWN TO HAVE INJECTOR SEAL LEAKS. BASED OFF THAT WE RECOMMEND REPLACING THE FUEL INJECTOR SEALS
- FUEL INJECTOR SEALS – Remove & Replace – V8 All Eight – [Includes: R&I Intake Manifold.]
